Jack's Route

Trail Directions

Jack's Route is used to get from South Side to Switchblade and was built after the original South Side was reinstated as a logging road. It is built on land owned by a private landowner named, shockingly, Jack.

To begin Jack's Route, take the singletrack trail on the right at the end of South Side.

  • Continue on the singletrack for about 0.6 miles and then you will get to a set of tight uphill switchbacks. These were added to allow us to stay off a particular corner of property, but should provide a fun challenge for most riders.
  • After the switchbacks, you will return to the old trail bed again. You may see an overgrown trail to your left which is abandoned now.
  • About 0.3 miles beyond the overgrown trail, you will reach a switchback which is the end of Jack's Route and the beginning of the lower end of Switchblade.
