Jack's Route is used to get from South Side to Switchblade and was built after the original South Side was reinstated as a logging road. It is built on land owned by a private landowner named, shockingly, Jack.
To begin Jack's Route, take the singletrack trail on the right at the end of South Side.
- Continue on the singletrack for about 0.6 miles and then you will get to a set of tight uphill switchbacks. These were added to allow us to stay off a particular corner of property, but should provide a fun challenge for most riders.
- After the switchbacks, you will return to the old trail bed again. You may see an overgrown trail to your left which is abandoned now.
- About 0.3 miles beyond the overgrown trail, you will reach a switchback which is the end of Jack's Route and the beginning of the lower end of Switchblade.
This trail is located on private land and was built by MAMBA with the consent of private landowners for the enjoyment of ALL non-motorized traffic. Please be considerate of the landowners and users of the trail by treading lightly. More on Trail Etiquette...
